I created the recipe for these Chocolate Hazelnut {grain-free} Cookies on a day that I just needed some chocolate. I wanted something simple, yet delicious. It’s always a bonus if it’s grain-free. Short ingredient list, real ingredients, quick process. The perfect snack.[/leftcolumn][rightcolumn]
Chocolate Hazelnut {grain-free} Cookies

Ingredients
- ½ c. Justin’s hazelnut spread
- 1 ripe banana
- 1 egg
- ½ c. almond flour
- 2 T. coconut flour
- Melted chocolate (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350˚.
- Prepare pan(s) with parchment or silpat.
- Cream spread and banana together.
- Add egg and mix well.
- Add flours and mix well.
- Allow to sit for ten minutes.
- Drop onto pan making each cookie about 2 Tablespoons.
- Bake for ten minutes and flatten slightly.
- Bake for another 3-6 minutes until nearly firm.
- Allow to cool and drizzle with melted chocolate, if desired.
