I’m in Pittsburg this weekend at the Farm to Table Pittsburg Conference! I’m here with two friends who work for a private buying club. We are so fortunate, here in PA, to have access to raw milk on farm, in stores and in buying clubs. We’re here to educate and help consumers find raw milk sources within the state. We sit at a booth and chat with new friends about the benefits of raw milk and how it makes the world better. 😉
I admit, I’ve come to this conference for other reasons too. Now that I’m a blogger, I’ve come to connect with other people who think like me and have small start-up businesses because that’s where my passion is. I LOVE talking to new businesses who are all beside themselves with how awesome their products are. They live for the possibilities and dream of what a growing business will look like in the future. Of course, I’d love to get this blog off the ground but I’d also love to help other people with their businesses too, in whatever aspect I can.
Places like a Farm to Table Conference are filled with people just like me who value quality, responsibly-sourced foods. They’re filled with people who know their bees and cows, people who roast their own coffee and make their own clothes. They’re do-ers and dream-ers. My kind of peoples.
Here’s a photo journal of some of the businesses I found here. Enjoy.
