Fresh Berry Mountain Cake {gluten-free}

- 1 stick of butter
- 3-4 cups fresh or frozen berries (blackberries, raspberries or blueberries)
- 1 ¾ cup sugar
- 2 cups gluten-free flour**
- 1 tsp. baking soda
- 2 tsp. baking powder
- 1 ¾ cup milk
- Heat oven to 350˚
- When oven is heated, place stick of butter in 9x13 baking dish and place in oven.
- When butter is melted (about 5 minutes), remove from oven and pour berries into dish.
- Spread berries evenly.
- Combine the remaining ingredients and mix well.
- Pour over berries.
- Bake for about 1 hour or until toothpick comes out with no batter on it.
- Allow to cool for 30 minutes.
- Serve warm with milk to pour overtop.
